Congratulations! Your class has done a wonderful job identifying inspiring quotes that fit your unique classroom community. Now it's time to show-off your work. This week you will create a poster using the inspirational quote that you suggested for your class to use. This poster will hang in our classroom to encourage everyone to do their best as we prepare for a very busy month!
Directions:
1. You may use any program that you wish in order to create your poster, or you may create it by hand.
2. If you create your poster online then you may print it from school, but be aware that it will print in black and white. If you would like to print it out before Friday and then bring it home to color it, then you may. Printing must be done before class starts or during recess.
3. Your poster must include: - Your inspirational quote or saying - A paragraph describing what the quote means to you - A paragraph describing why it applies to your classroom community - A paragraph explaining why you want to remember this quote in the future
4. Your poster must be on a regular size sheet of paper, portrait aligned. It will be hung in your bulletin board pocket as soon as you bring it in.
5. Your poster will be graded for: - Spelling - Sentence completion and variety - Organized composition (paragraph structure = topic sentence, supporting sentences, a concluding sentence) - Accurate quote - Homework completion
6. Your poster is due hanging on the bulletin board, Friday, May 24, 2013 at 12:00 pm.
